Mid-Columbia Ballet is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, performers, and our audience members. To help fulfill that commitment, we are following the industry standards and have adopted the following requirements for The Nutcracker 2021:

Vaccination/Testing Requirement

  • All audience members (including those under 12 years of age) must show either
    • verification of full COVID-19 vaccination (2 full weeks after the 2nd shot of Pfizer or Moderna, or 2 full weeks after the J&J shot) or
    • a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the performance they are attending. The COVID-19 test must be from a doctor, a testing site, a community health center, or a pharmacy that shows the date and time of the test.
  • A government-issued or school photo ID must be shown, except for Child ticket holders accompanied by an adult.
  • Children under two years of age, according to Washington State guidelines, should not wear a mask and therefore will not be admitted to The Nutcracker 2021.

Mask Usage Requirement

  • Mid-Columbia Ballet will require face masks that cover both the nose and mouth for all patrons while indoors, regardless of age or vaccination status, at all performances of The Nutcracker.
  • Gaiters, scarves, bandanas, and vented masks are not acceptable as face masks.
  • Non-compliant patrons will be asked to leave the theatre.

Performance Tickets

  • Tickets will only be sold in every other row.
  • A seat will automatically be placed between each group of tickets sold.
